AM   20 mile stationary bike at home before heading to the gym for a tempo run.   What a tempo run!  The hardest tempo run to date,  1 mile w/u - 6 mile progressive tempo - .50 easy jog - 6 mile progressive tempo - .50 mile c/d  total 14 mile run 12 of it was tempo

Just an easy 15 miles, talked to Jeff around mile 8 and was planning on running 16 but just ran out of gas this morning and just gave up on the last mile. That is ok as just yesterday was a hard tempo run so I am ok with 15 this morning.  Heading to the cabin this afternoon and back on Sunday afternoon.  Plan on maybe running on Sat afternoon.

   An easy 10.31 miles on a great morning for a run. Felt good after a couple days off - Freeman Park to Sunnyside loop + some.

PM   5 miles on the TM at the gym - 3 miles easy and 2 miles at MP

Started out at an easy run for the first 3 miles and moved into 30 sec. slower then MP to mile 14 and then ran the next 6 miles at MP. The last mile was a tough mile as I ran out of carbs but got it done. Glad I ran this on the TM as I know I would not have been able to get it all in if I was out side this morning in the cold and wind.

AM   Needed to be to work early this morning and had to start running by 4am.  It was an awsome morning (cool) but no wind and very peaceful, I ran this route a few weeks ago and had alot of fun with it.  Started out at the Greenbelt and through Citizens park and to Sunnyside, down SRL to Panchari and over the new bridge to Bellin, instead of turning at Bellin I kept going up Panchari to the new soccer complex and back down Panchari to the river and over to the truck at the Greenbelt and around Freeman Park and back.  I wanted 16 this morning but just didn't have the time.

Went to the gym after Church to run but didn't expect to run 10 miles, set out at an easy 8 min pace for 4 miles and felt very good and wanted to pick up the pace for a few. Ran 2.5 miles at 10 k pace and 2.5 miles at 5 k pace and 1 mile back at an easy 8 min pace. A nice run after a great day of Church!

AM   14.0 miles on the stationary bike before heading to the Greenbelt for an amazing morning run

         8.07 easy Z2 run, what a great morning - warm - light rain - no wind until the last mile - and some of the Christmas lights are on now - and the smell of the wet pine trees. I was very blessed this morning and just set my day right. I LOVE MORNING RUNS LIKE THIS!

PM   8 miles after work on the TM at the gym, progressive Z2 run. Talked to Jeff and Gary after our runs, Hope Jeff gets to feeling better, and it was nice to talk to Gary and congrat him on his BQ at STG

AM   Wanted to go on the group run this morninng but for the last two mornings I have woke up with not feeling so well and opt'd to go to the gym for a TM run. Started out easy for the first few miles to see how I would feel not knowing how far I was going to run this morning, Felt ok and just ran mile by mile up to mile 10 and still was ok so I ended up running a progression run for the last 10.30 miles.  It was very nice to talk to my wife, McKay, Lynnete, Alisa, and Tami as her daughter is doing a documentry on why people run and was filming and interviewed me on why I run along with some other runners.  It should be a cool thing to see when it gets done.
