AM   I have never been so disappointed that I did not finish a run in a very long time! Set out at 3 am and I knew it was going to be a tough run but not that bad as it was 13* and the winds was at 22mph which mad it 2*.  I had planned to run 28 miles on a back to back run with yesterday run of 23 miles butthings changed.  At mile 3 I went to get a drink from my pack and could tell the hose was getting restricted and the water was getting cold on my back and by mile 4.5 I went to take another drink and the hose was solid and no drink was going to happen, so I finished up a 9 mile loop and yes it was cold heading into the wind and got back to the truck and turned the heat on and got the hose freed and set out again and to have it happen again by mile 11 and ust finished a loop I started and called it quits.  Very disappointed  as I felt good but just not ment to be

AM   Cold but the wind was not bad.  This training block has been tough as I am only 3 1/2 weeks out from my next 100 miler.  Cold temps and hard to get warmed up at the start of almost all my runs but it is what it is and will alway do my best

PM   It was my day off today and I just wanted to run in the sunshine this afternoon,  Did some running around getting stuff done around the house and set out for the run at 2:30pm and SUNSHINE and very nice as all of my run have been before sunrise so this was very nice.

AM   Set out on this run at 2am this morning,  temps was not to bad and very little wind but did stop to change my shirt and coat 2 times so that I would not get chilled.  Happy with the run and worked on nutrition and found out what doesn't work for me, that is the nice thing about training runs right.
