AM   18.0 mile stationary bike at home before heading out for an easy 7 mile run from the Greenbelt to Sunnyside to JH Bridge loop.   Have been thinking about getting my wife a running companion, as it is dark out and she also runs before going to work also.  I just would feel better if she had a dog with her . We will see how things turn out!  Opinions welcome please.

Good to hear you got her a dog. I've loved running with mine and my wife runs with him a bunch too.

Thanks for the bacon and pancakes comment this morning....I'm still hungry.....Have any left overs?

Here's where I got my leash. I also added the lunge buster. It helps when my dog stops, darts or lunges.

Now that it's too late to suggest dog breeds

1-Vizsla - long distance and fast pace, great for families. Probably what I'd get now.

2- Weimaranner - not quite as fast.

3- Siberian Husky - Mine drags my wife and has done 20 milers with me. Cold weather.

4 - Border Collie - Most obedient

5- German Short hair
