Race: Standhope Ultra challenge (39.5 Miles) 10:32:44, Place overall: 37, Place in age division: 4
Total Distance
39.50

Parked the camper at the finish line and got on the shuttle bus at 3:45am to the start line, meet up with Jeremy and alot of other friends there as we all gathered around the nice camp fire that they had going for us.  Race got started on a cool but awesome morning and were already heading up hill as this was going to be the case for the whole race, eather up or down.  Standhope has 3 Mtn. and each one gets higher and mor difficult with the 3rd one at 11,000 feet.  I did alot of hills in my training but there was only so many hills in a race before it takes a big toll on you legs and that was the case as I was climbing up to the summit but was very nice to head down hill frome there. It was a good race but hard, not the outcome or time that I wanted but I am happy with how it went.  Started 42 and finished 37 and 4 in AG

I heard this one was tough from Jeremy. Congrats on another strong race.
