AM   Set out this morning to do 6 x 600 x 200, well lets put it this way-- the body was not having any part of the speed work.  Ended up doing 4 x 600 and went into a MP for the next 7 miles and felt better with that then the speed work.  Just one of those days!  This was a TM run and man it was hot in the gym this morning as it was very windy outside and my good friend Jeff had the same idea also, (to windy)

"just one of those days"...and you still got some good speed in, as well as 7 MP miles. that's a pretty successful training run in my book! nice job.

Thanks allie, are you having a hard time with the cool/cold morning runs as I am. Just can't believe winter is almost here. Do you have a winter run planned yet? I am running RnR Las. Vegas full on the 5th of Dec. should be a fun time

yes, it's definitely a big change to be running in cold temps again. it came too soon!

i'm still trying to figure out my winter plans. i may run the california international marathon in december, or i may run the seattle half marathon the weekend of thanksgiving. the other option is just shutting it down for the year and working on building a strong winter base so i can be ready for some racing next spring. i'm already thinking about what marathons i wan to run next year, but it's a tough decision. luckily, we have plenty to choose from!
